the digital darkroom

Creating artistic portraiture by means of digital imaging can be an extensive process, and quite often defines the line between ‘professional & shutter-bug‘.

Understanding old-school exposure & basic composition when pulling the trigger is an essential skill in this profession.  But in this new digital era of photography;  that initial click is merely a fraction of the masterpiece that is being created.  In fact, for every one hour I spend on the field I anticipate 2-3 hours in post-production.
